Boston Aqua Farms Stony Coral Cutters
Boston Aqua Farms Stony Coral Cutters are made special just
for Boston Aqua Farms and designed specifically for cutting
small polyp stony corals.
These cutters are surgical stainless steel bone cutters made
from the highest quality surgical stainless steel by one of the
finest surgical tool manufacturers in the world.
Features a grippy handle for better control when wet, a high
quality coiled spring (no cheap wire springs here), a handle
catch for safe storage and a flatter cutting head to more
easily get between coral branches. You won't find a better
designed implement for cutting SPS corals.
Boston Aqua Farms Soft Coral Scalpel Kit
Boston Aqua Farms Soft Coral Scalpel is a surgical scalpel handle, #3 size,
designed to hold a variety of different scalpel blades.
For best results always use a sharp blade when cutting soft corals. A sharp
blade will minimize unwanted damage and ensure coral health.
Each soft coral cutter kit comes with a handle and 4 disposable blades,
replacement blades are also available.
Boston Aqua Farms Reef Plugs ™
Boston Aqua Farms coral Reef Plugs™ are specially designed to
take advantage of all the best qualities of other plugs and coral
frag mounting solutions to date.
Pictured at the right, this plug resembles a small one legged table.
The peg in the bottom is designed to fit nicely into eggcrate, it will
also fit nicely into a small crevice or hole in your live rock.
(Some drill 1/2" holes throughout their new live rock, to provide
future resting places for our frag plugs.)
The top is about 1" in diameter and sports a layer of bright reef
sand that helps corals and coralline algae to adhere more
quickly, it also looks more natural then aragocrete.
Reef Plugs ™ are designed to support Acropora, Montipora
Digitata and other thin branchy species of coral.
Boston Aqua Farms Reef Disks
Boston Aqua Farms coral Reef Disks are designed to the same standards as the Reef Plugs described above. The disk measures approximately 1 3/4" diameter by 1/4" thick topped with the same bright reef sand. Boston Aqua Farms coral Reef Disks are great for Zoanthid colonies, soft corals and any frags that require a wider base to grow on.
