Excellent for all marine applications, hard coral, plants, fresh water, and salt water tanks. We recommend using this bulb in fish only applications, and freshwater planted tanks.

454 (peaks at 454nm allowing chlorophyll absorption utilized in natural photosynthesis) 85% triband ultra blue spectrum, 15% actinic spectrum. 180° internal reflector allows 40% more light output. Great for reef applications and coral enhancement. Ultra blue phosphors penetrate deeper into the aquarium making fluorescent pigments (zooanthilia) of corals illuminate. Great complement to the Super Actinic R .
